Beauty For Ashes
Beauty for Ashes (RF) NPC aids prisoners leaving prison on parole by running two halfway houses in Observatory Cape Town. The halfway houses help and assist women with the challenges of re-entering society after prison by 1) providing education and training to procur meaningful work, by 2) addressing emotional, psychological and physical needs, and 3) negotiate family re-unification in order to prevent a return to crime.

Salesian Life Choices, or better known as Life Choices, is a South African based youth development organisation. Even though we are registered as a non-profit organisation, we consider ourselves for profit as we work for human profit. For this reason we do not refer to ourselves as a 'charity' (giving of help to those in need). We believe this approach of "we have and you don't" is a disempowering practice.
SARDA, SA Riding for the Disabled Association, offers FREE therapeutic riding lessons to children and adults living with physical and learning disabilities. Riding for the Disabled is an international organisation. SARDA Cape Town is a registered non-profit organisation situated in Constantia. SARDA’s aim is to provide the opportunity of therapeutic and recreational riding to people living with disabilities so that they might benefit in all aspects of the mental, physical and social lives.

St Josephs
St Joseph’s takes care of children who have been diagnosed with life threatening illnesses such as HIV/Aids, cancer, arthritis, type 1 diabetes, heart-lung-kidney failures and congenital abnormalities. All the children are referred by various hospitals which include Red Cross Children’s Hospital, Tygerberg, Groote Schuur and other medical facilities.

St Lukes Hospice in Cape Town strives to provide palliative care for improved quality of life and to enable people to die with dignity.
Starting Chance
Starting Chance focuses on Early Childhood Development (ECD) because investment in providing children aged 0 to 6 years with an excellent starting chance in their education has been shown to produce lifetime benefit. Providing a school building alone does not create a quality early learning environment. We deploy highly experienced, well-qualified early childhood fieldworkers to provide intensive in-service coaching and mentoring.
Sue Barnes created Subz in response to a request for the donation of washable sanitary pads and panties for the under privileged girls in her area. Subz are panties to which sanitary pads can be clipped. The panty is made of 100% cotton knit, (130 – 140g) which allows the skin to breath. This is also a eco-friendly/green solution.
The Ark
The Ark City of Refuge is a registered Christ-Centred Non-Profitable Organisation which provides a loving and caring temporary home, food and clothing to destitute, homeless, abandoned, abused, unemployed women, children and men. Since our inception, some 35,000 people have walked through our gates in need of help. Currently we average about 900 people. Women 300, Children/youth 200 and Men 400
The Carpenter's Shop
We are a registered non-profit organization and public benefit organization that engages in social investments to provide a range of services to vulnerable people, most of whom live on the city’s streets. It is estimated that the streets of Cape Town and the city bowl in particular, are home to almost 1000 street people. They live on the streets for a variety of reasons: unemployment and poverty, substance abuse, mental illness, an escape from domestic violence.

TSIBA Business School
TSIBA applies an innovative approach to financing education which allows students to contribute towards their tuition at relative levels of affordability. TSIBA degree students study on scholarship but are required to pay a percentage of their annual tuition fees based on a fee schedule. This schedule is based on financial means and is calculated on the combined total household income of registered students.

Work4You acts as a bridge between special needs education and employment. Some of the disabilities encountered are traumatic brain damage, Down’s Syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy. YISS is a non-profit organisation, situated in Hanover Park at Crystal Secondary School. This organisation was created from the backdrop of the realities and challenges in the disadvantage communities. We understand the realities that our young people are facing in our crime-ridden communities and therefore provide them with constructive alternatives towards building crime-free and responsible lives.
You & Your Money
You & Your Money was started in 2001 - we became aware of the crippling problem of household and personal debt in South African communities. We enable voiceless communities, groups and individuals to gain and maintain financial dignity from debilitating household debt through Awareness & Education, Debt Activism and Advocacy
