PINCUS MATZ ATTORNEYS IS A LEVEL 2 CONTRIBUTOR TO B-BBEE

We are known for our professionalism, integrity and experience, but equally important to us, is what we stand for as a firm: to be the preferred legal advisor because of our respect for people and the law.

Being 'serious about law, passionate about people', is what drives us to nurture our relationships with clients, associates and staff, and make a positive impact in everything we do.

We also contribute to carefully selected social development projects in our communities as we hope to make a difference.

THE POSTIVE IMPACT OF CSI CONTRIBUTIONS

As part of our CSI, Pincus Matz recently made a donation to Focus Facilities Solutions, a Level 1 - 100% Female Black Youth owned business that aims to provide the  best professional cleaning and hygiene services to all our clients, big and small. They recently did a stirling job cleaning the Pincus Matz office space and carpets.

Our contribution has enabled the purchase of radios for better communications between teams. Because of the vast area in which the teams often work (e.g.: stadiums and 10-storey buildings), they can now find each other quickly, and no longer rely on cell phones.

The positive impact of our investment has led to better communications and much improved productivity for Focus Facilities Solutions. You can contact them on: 083 231 2227 / 021 754 2396  or robyn@focusfs.co.za

REACH FOR A DREAM SLIPPER DAY 2023

We stepped up and put our best feet forward in support of Wimpy’s SLIPPER DAY - Reach for a Dream fundraiser. The project aims to fulfill the dreams of youngsters fighting life-threatening illnesses. Pincus Matz has been supporting this drive for over 10 years.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE TO RURAL MEN AND WOMEN

The Jabulani Rural Health Foundation received a financial contribution from Pincus Matz, as part of our CSI programme. Our donation was allocated to their Creative Artisans Entrepreneurial Development project. The project aims to empower people with disabilities to become economically active by producing and selling their crafts. From beadwork and pottery to sewing and woodcraft, these unique items are for sale at the Jabulani Coffee Shop. Participants in the programme are mentored and receive foundational business skills training. Our donation allows the programme to assist the entrepreneurs even further, and to increase their market reach.

Jabulani is a non-profit organisation that supports Zithulele Hospital and its surrounding community.

TUBES OF HOPE ON SUNFLOWER DAY

Sunflower Day was held on 12 September. It was indeed a bright day at Pincus Matz. All in aid of giving hope to SA’s Blood Cancer patients, the firm made a donation to the Fund and bought topes (Tubes of Hope) for all staff members.

A JOYFUL CELEBRATION FOR CASUAL DAY

The NCPD and the organisers of Casual Day chose #ICelebrateSA as their 2022 theme. We love their positivity and that it is in line with our own theme, to look  “On the Bright Side”. Of course we took the opportunity once again to support this worthy cause and donned our casuals on 2 September.
