The National Housing Stokvel Company is a registered (Pty) Ltd. We are greatly inspired by the Stokvel and it’s simple, yet highly effective concept of Mutuality… where the collective works for the greater benefit of all concerned.

 Our focus is affordable housing and we strive to provide customer centred solutions.

Our flagship is, our 0% interest free home loan… this programme was developed after extensive market research that brought to light the following:

The 3 MAIN REASONS for the high declines are:

Affordability: People cannot afford the repayments

Adverse Credit Ratings: People are blacklisted and/or considered high risk

Security/Collateral: Lacks proper security to give adequate “protection” against possible default.

The Company has devised several programmes that helps to negate these hurdles…

  1. Rental: The renting of housing units… this shall include social housing units. We will also endeavour to assist various partners/stakeholders in building social housing units.
  2. Rent to Own: Approved buyers to not pay a deposit, but rents the house for a pre-determined period.
  3. Affordable homes for sale: Our developments focus on the Affordable market.

The company want to erect 10 million homes by 2050

Our Share Option Scheme (SOS) is offered as part of an employee wellness/ Benefit programme.

SME’s pay a small monthly subscription plus costs associated to Employer and employees decide how much they want to contribute.

Companies and staff are able to buy Social Housing Bonds, they earn a small return on investment plus capital and money is used to build housing.
