About Us

Who/What is Resolute Education?

Resolute Education sprouted from the growing need in TechBased Education, the desire to tackle the lack of quality education and the compassion for less privileged students, who are in dire need of industry relevant skills to better position them for a not only brighter, but broader future. By implementing Coding and Robotics in quintile 1-4 schools, we are equipping our leaders of tomorrow with long lasting skills. Technology is the driving force of the new world, and we are passionate about helping students be prepared for it.

Social Development Objectives:

The lack of quality Education is a social problem that plagues our kids and taints their future. We at The Resolute Education believe that TechEd is crucial in equipping the youth to effectively navigate a world filled with technology.
By addressing the need for Tech-Based-Education in quintile 1-4 schools, less privileged students participating in our programmes will learn problem solving, engineering skills and coding languages on a high level.

VISION:

The Resolute Education sees a future where our students enter the world being more than competent in Robotics and Coding. Through passionate teaching and development, our students’ skills can be well harnessed to help build a technologically advanced South Africa.

STRATEGY:

The steps taken to accomplish this initiative are as follows:
• Meet with Schools willing to invest time toward a Robotics and Coding program.
• Partner/Receive funding from Private Companies.
• Train teachers/mentors who will enthusiastically participate and be a constant presence and source of guidance for the students.
• The Resolute Education Outreach programmes commence for the students.
• The now empowered students impact their respective communities with their new founded, well-developed Robotics and Coding        skills.

Programmes

Project/Program

With the approval of the Tshwane North Department of Basic Education, we are engaging with quintile 1-4 schools to implement project-based learning 12-week programmes that, with funding, can turn into year-long initiatives.

Services: description/service delivery

The Resolute Education provides reusable, CAPS aligned, reliable kits for the children to engage with.

We are adamant that the children receive the highest level of assistance possible. For this to be possible, The Resolute Foundation offers teachers training.

Services

Services rendered by the Resolute Education Outreach program will be as follows:

Resolute Education seeks to address the growing need for TechBased Education. By joining hands   with quintile 1-4 schools and donors/partners, we can equip less privileged students with skills in   Robotics and Coding which overlap with Maths and Science. By implementing a twelve (12) week   robotics and coding program, we will be able to help students develop industry relevant skills, develop   skills they did not previously have, improve their Mathematics and Science skills and broaden the   spectrum of opportunities when they head into tertiary education.

Resolute Education will provide the following services:

Teacher/Mentor training: The students will need a constant presence as they participate in the Robotics and Coding program offered. The Teachers will receive SACE points for our training program.

Robotics kits will be given to the schools. These are necessary for the ‘hardware’ aspect of the program. The Resolute Education strongly believes in project-based learning. The students seeing the physical component is imperative for their learning. The kits are aligned with CAPS curriculum regulation.

Annual licences will be provided for the students, giving them access to our online platform. The students will engage in video-based learning, making interaction with robotics more accessible for them.

Technical Support is instrumental in helping the schools effectively implement robotics and coding. Nothing is more annoying than having technical problems that hinder the student’s progress. Resolute Education prides itself in offering continuous operations support and being able to support our partners when difficulties arise.
