This year we have been asked to open CK offices at 6 new partner schools; extending our reach to over 30 000 learners.

It brings us great joy to be part of an ecosystem. A funder will share their desire to sponsor a new CK office, discussions follow with the principal, the school management team, the governing body, parents, learners, our team and our collaboration partners.  There is a sense of unity, excitement, relief and anticipation, each time we add one more safe space.

We are making our circle bigger and everyone's invited. 

In 2021 we did more, with less.  We listened more than ever; we continued to adapt, evolve, respond and refine. It is not always easy.  Caring for vulnerable young people is a huge responsibility and to do this, while at the same time researching, scheming and strategising, is stretching.  We sit for hours together challenging, questioning and debating. We are very grateful for the guidance from our board and the CK supporter collective; we are not walking this journey alone.  Thank you for being a part of this wave of goodwill and for co-authoring our 3, 5 and 10 year plans. 

For a long time we have had a dream of being in 100 schools, that vision has not changed. We are breaking new ground, entering new territory, expanding into new provinces, onboarding new partners and new program and CK will be in 100 schools by 2030.
