It is that time of year again, when we open applications for the Social Innovation and Disability Empowerment Awards. This is one of our flagship programmes, and we are always inspired by the many applications that we receive from across the country.

Every year in an effort measure and understand our progress towards achieving our objective of creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, we publish an impact report to share with the public. Measuring our impact underpins all that we do, so that we can gauge how much value our investment has added. We recently celebrated our TEP12 graduates who completed the 18-month SAB Foundation Tholoana Enterprise Programme. These entrepreneurs were recognised for their achievements and commitment to growing their businesses. We are proud to report that during their time on the programme, and despite the COVID-19 pandemic, our entrepreneurs managed to create a total of 103 new jobs and sustain 341 jobs.
Entrepreneurs are crucial to the growth of our economy. Developing them is essential to create jobs and uplift historically disadvantaged members of our society.
