Let’s celebrate Human Rights together

Author: info@klassikdigital.co.za

We have great news! The Human Rights Festival is back in its full physical form. Join us from 19 to 20 March 2022 for two jam-packed days of conversations, exhibitions, art, film, and live performances at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg.

Are you excited yet? We hope so because there’s more. On Saturday, our brave climbers will be scaling one of the bridges to drop a banner in celebration of the occasion. There will also be an opportunity for you to express your #Artivist skills as you contemplate what a future based on environmental and social justice would look like.

On Sunday at 13:00, you can join us for a panel discussion where we will be exploring the role of Renewable Energy in reversing youth unemployment. Some of our panellists include Thandile Chinyavanhu, Climate and Energy Campaigner for Greenpeace Africa; Lethiwe Nkosi, Network Mobiser for Youth Capital and Kwanele Ngwenya, Social and Climate Justice Activist for the Amhed Kathrade Foundation.

Finally, you’ll have a chance to engage with Luke Rudman, an extraordinary performance artist from Nelson Mandela Bay University, who uses his art to raise awareness about environmental issues.
