Months of Millions of Meals, Solidarity and Sharks

bp Southern Africa has partnered with SA Harvest in a long-term partnership that will deliver 55 million meals and contribute towards reducing methane emissions from landfills.
The partnership was launched on Mandela Day, honouring his legacy of preserving and upholding human dignity, with a Million Meals Month Challenge that successfully delivered over 2,2 million meals between 18 July and 17 August.
Our partnership with The Solidarity Fund has delivered 343 000 kilograms of food to the flood-ravaged areas of Port Shepstone, Richards Bay and eThekwini and surrounding communities, providing 4 764 families with enough food to sustain a family of six for two months.
Swimming with The Sharks to do more in KZN
Our new home in the Shark Tank at Hollywoodbets Kings Park in Durban gives us more - more space to store, more security, more potential to reach more people. It's all thanks to the partnership we've forged with The Sharks rugby team - a relationship that began last year at the time of the riots, and has grown from strength to strength.
