NOT ALL IS DOOM AND GLOOM ON THE CAPE FLATS

Gangsterism, gender-based violence and drug abuse along with unemployment are rife on the Cape Flats. Over the past years, Capetonians have experienced devastating and heart-breaking news pertaining these matters, including premature deaths.

Youth are the prime victims and still suffer with fear of becoming the next statistic. I AM PASSION

(IAP) which is a connecting point and brings a message of hope – inspiring young people to change their perceptions and to bring them opportunities that will catapult them to becoming agents of change.

In 2019, IAP impacted over 2000 young people and individuals on the Cape Flats, inspiring them to unlock their true potential, giving them access to skills development and training for the working environment. In 2017, they were recognised by the Department of Social Development and awarded the bronze award for “Encouraging Self-expression through Sports, Arts and Culture” at the Ministerial Youth Excellence Awards.

I AM PASSION PRESENTS 40 DAYS AROUND YOUR WORLD

On Tuesday, 10 March 2020, I AM PASSION (IAP) 220-659 launches the campaign “40 Days Around Your World.” They invite the public to support their fundraising event and inspirational campaign. The 40 – Day Challenge attracts all Capetonians and hopes to take them on a journey of self -discovery. Using IAP’s recent self - published inspirational book “I GOT IT” the content is targeted to extract the potential from within, to change mindsets and to catapult individuals into greatness.
