TEARS has been unable to host volunteers for Mandela Day for the past two years due to COVID so we're thrilled to welcome Capetonians back this year to create a BIG impact for animals!
Shelter Improvement Projects
The Kennels and the Cattery have a variety of projects planned for the Mandela Day & Weekend event. It is only the direct result of many helping hands that TEARS is able to improve the lives of the animals in its care. Partnership allows to accomplish tasks and execute projects that would otherwise seem impossible.

Can't Attend But Want to Help?
Even if you are not able to volunteer, you can be with us in spirit. Support the TEARS Mandela Day & Weekend event by sponsoring some much needed pet food to be distributed to starving pets in the low-income communities in our outreach area.
