“I am honoured to take over the helm of this extraordinary club,” said Tsie Mogoje newly elected president of the Rotary Club of Claremont at her inauguration on Tuesday, 25 June 2019. Tsie will take over the reins for the 2018/2019.

“Ten years ago I did not think that I would be standing here. I was discussing with my colleague at the time what we would do after we retire.  We both felt like we wanted to be involved in community work and give back through our vocation,” say Tsie.

Dodd completed a successful year as president under the theme of ‘sustainability’, indicating that under his leadership the club grew its membership base. “I am glad to say that our club is sustainable and thriving, allowing it to continue serving the community,” says Dodd.

“I believe that we as the Rotary Club of Claremont through its many projects, we should continue to develop our relationships with our partners, our beneficiaries, other Rotary clubs; and in this way we will expand the ideal of Rotary by putting our vocation into work to connect communities through life changing projects,” says Tsie.
