Eco Acquittal is restoring dignity to rural communities. The company manufactures and distributes environmentally friendly treatment solutions for pitlatrines, portable toilets and septic tanks.
Directors at Eco Acquittal, Joslyn Silwana and Shella Mfisa, joined the Black Umbrellas incubation programme after a series of business failures.
“We knew that joining Black Umbrellas would help us to become compliant and sustainable,” Shella explains.
The directors agree that in order to build the legacy that they envision, they need the right foundation. Black Umbrellas is extremely proud to see the growth that Eco Aquittal has been able to attain and, like many other businesses in our programme, the difference that they are making in the broader economy.“Black Umbrellas has given us a great business coach who is hands-on and helps us to navigate business challenges,” said Joslyn. Without the support and collaborative efforts of Black Umbrellas funders and donors, it would be impossible to develop businesses like Eco Acquittal. Not only are they contributing to the economy, but they are uplifting local communities with a product that is designed for health, safety and human dignity. Many of the entrepreneurs on our programme are innovative; with your support, they can live up to their greatness.
