Becoming a member of the AACL-JHB™, mandates the organisation to always “Speak on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves”.
You become part of a family of animal lovers and like-minded individuals who support our commitment to promote Responsible Pet Ownership.

How will your membership help animals?

Becoming a member is a great way to show your support in caring for abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, and surrendered animals. Your membership will help raise awareness and vital funds that will contribute to the care of thousands of vulnerable animals that need AACL-JHB™ support each year.

What Membership Means to the Animal Anti-Cruelty League-JHB™

Your membership will help support:

  • Our Inspectors who deal with the hundreds of cases of cruelty and neglect.
  • Our kennels which provides care and shelter for abandoned and surrendered animals prior to adoption or re-uniting stray pets with their families.
  • Our welfare veterinary hospital that treats injured and sick animals belonging to low-income families, including sterilisation, vaccination, emergency veterinary services.
  • Our mobile outreach programmes that take primary health care into the community.
  • Promoting Responsible Pet Ownership by educating learners through our school’s programme and Pawcademy.

Your care and compassion will make a lifesaving difference to both animals and their owners.

 
Becoming a Member of AACL-JHB™

Annual Membership Fees:
Ordinary member - R180.00
Pensioner member - R 60.00 
Junior (under 14)/Student - R 80.00 
Corporate member - R 2000.00
You can also join as a Life Member by paying a once-off membership fee:
Single Life member - R 1000.00 – (once only)
